- Be clear initially about the hours you can and want to take on. Don’t let a boss take advantage of your strong work ethic and don’t be afraid to say no to those additional hours.
- Don’t burn any bridges at work. You never know who your co-worker knows, and if he or she might be able to get you another job down the road.
